Tilly and the Buttons Cleo Dungaree dress class
Learn to sew the super popular Cleo from Tilly and the buttons. A simple pattern, ideal for beginners with a relaxed style that doesn't need tricky fitting adjustments. Your tutor Amanda will give you plenty of support and guidance, as well as sharing all her tips and tricks for successful sewing! The pattern, use of equipment and tuition are included. You will need to bring fabric and notions as indicated on the pattern. Please note that this pattern is sized for UK 6-20 and if you are significantly outside of this range, this class may not be suitable.
Make a jersey dress or sweater: Southbank by Nina Lee
An ideal class if you're new to sewing with knits, the Southbank sweater or sweater dress is a stylish and cosy pattern that you'll want to make again and again. Tutor Amanda will share her top tips to help you achieve a great finish. you will need to bring suitable jersey fabric, and matching thread. The pattern is sized for U.K. 6-20. If you are outside of this size range this class may not be suitable for you, so please check before booking.
Made to measure: A pair of trousers
A two day class in which you will learn to draft a pattern using your body measurements. The basic block can then be adapted to create the style of your choice. The class will take place on Saturday 12th October 10-4 and Sunday the 13th October 12-4 All materials included.

If you've never used a sewing machine, or you just want to feel more confident this class is for you. bring your own machine or use one of ours!
Bring along the clothes that don't fit as you'd like and learn how to alter them. Sophie will help you make the most of the unloved handmade or ready-to-wear garments in you wardrobe and give them a new lease of life!
Make a quilted advent calendar
Make a beautiful quilted advent calendar with Tracy in this popular one day class which is suitable for all abilities. You'll be using an advent panel to create a calendar that will be treasured for years to come. You will need to bring: an advent panel, wadding, backing fabric and thread.
Know Your Overlocker
Make the most of your overlocker with this one day class. You will learn how to correctly thread your machine, 3 and 4 thread overlocking, rolled hems, tension adjustment and more in this one day class. please bring your overlocker, together with any feet and accessories and 4 different coloured threads.
Stack and Whack patchwork
Stack and whack is a fast fun technique, using freehand cutting to create unique shapes. In this class you will practise cutting fabric for several blocks in one go, piecing them and sewing curves and trickier shapes.You will need to bring at least 5 fat quarters and coordinating thread. Make some bunting to decorate your home or to give as a gift in this fun, festive class! This class is suitable for all abilities, including beginners and materials are included.

Fun sewing projects for creative kids aged 8+! All materials included.
Make a cushion
A great class if you've never sewn before, you'll be using a sewing machine to make an easy cushion cover. You'll need to bring half a metre of fabric and matching thread.
Make a drum lampshade
Make a lampshade in the fabric of your choice. No sewing required! You will need about ½ a metre of medium weight fabric - cotton or a cotton/linen blend are ideal, which you can bring with you or buy in the shop. All other materials are provided.
